Further analysis was dedicated to the profound implications of artificial intelligence on copyright law, the international obligations of foreign investment companies concerning taxation and disclosure, and the practical application of commercial terms like CIF and FOB in international trade. The sessions also explored how Maldivian tax law aligns with the international principle of non-discrimination for permanent establishments and assessed the fairness of late payment fines against global benchmarks.
