Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Participates In The International Conference On Womens Rights In Emerging Societies

At the International Conference on Women's Rights in Emerging Societies, held on February 17, 2024, Uza. Asna Ahmed, Dean of the Faculty of Shariah & Law, Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ, delivered a keynote address while Lecturer Amish Abdullah of the Faculty of Shariah & Law, Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ chaired a technical session at this conference.

Uza. Asna Ahmed's keynote, titled "Women Rights in the Emerging Societies: The Maldivian Tides," examined women's participation in the Maldives' socio-economic spheres in light of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Additionally, a case study on Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ showcased initiatives to address gender disparity, spotlighting gender ratios among students, graduates, and staff.

This collaborative event, in partnership with our MoU ally Symbiosis International University, brought together esteemed institutions such as the American International University Bangladesh Institute of Legal Studies, SRM University, and Jus Corpus Law Journal.
